It kind of leaves you scratching your head.
Thing is ..... UPCI and the Tulsa thing .... whatever and if ever it gets off the ground .... are just groups of men who fellowship around a certain set of beliefs and causes. There are a myriad of differences when it comes to specifics as far as doctrine, holiness issues, etc. but in the end these groups/organizations/fellowships are just that.
The REALITY is that specific callings and anointing of God are lived out individually. What we do and accomplish for God on the individual level is where the rubber meets the road. This is the most important thing.
But who and what you fellowship with is important too. I've been on both sides of the fence so I know a little of what I'm talking about.
In my experience and from what I've seen of these groups that have splintered off the UPCI, they're basically dead in the water compared to what the UPC has accomplished over the years.
That just my l'il ol' opinion.

Dear DEAR Felicity,
Honey, you are no longer a UPC-ite. Why on earth do you care one little bit about what happens to the UPCI at this point???
Why on EARTH do you care to post your thoughts and opinions on a matter that does not concern you?
Do you not know that at this point you have lost all influence and affluence in the UPCI - so you really need to build a bridge and GET OVER YOURSELF!
(and for those of you in TULSA - these statements are posted with tongue firmly implanted in cheek)
