Negative Confessions

Can our words or thoughts be detrimental to our physical, mental and/or spiritual well being?

Pro 18:21 Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Pro 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so [is] he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart [is] not with thee.

"I'm worried to death...."

"I'm just sick and tired of being sick and tired"

"All this work is drivin' me crazy."

"I think I'm tryin to catch a cold."
(Why TRY to take something you don't want?)

"Sittin' on this hard pew is killing me".

Are we speaking or thinking our way to sickness or spiritual defeat?

Waiting for the Lord is easy... Waiting patiently? Not so much.
