What more can I say, really? Wow! I can't believe your comments. I am in awe EVERY time even ONE person receives the Holy Ghost. It amazes me every time just one person is saved. Jesus is so wonderful and gracious - His saving power thrills me beyond words... YES, even when "only" ONE person is saved. I just don't know how to respond to your lack of "awe" and amazement of even ONE sinner repenting. There is joy in heaven - joy in the presence of the angels of God - over ONE SINNER THAT REPENTS! Praise God! He is good and He is still saving lives. How wonderful!

Yes, I am happy one person is saved...
I am just in awe that we pretend that we are experiencing an "apostolic revival" just like in the Bible when we have 1 or 2 saved a weekend and there are 7.5 billion people on earth...
and the Bible states that they were having 3 and 5 thousand at a time getting saved in a world where much much fewer people... how many fewer??
Well in 1800 there were 1 billion people... 1900 1.6 billion... and today in 2007 there are 7.6 billion people... So I'm sure we can do the math...
and they were seeing thousands saved in meetings.... why are we getting only a small fraction of that kind of power??? Where is it???
What are we missing??? What's getting in the way??
well, 2 things:
1. there are 20,00,000 oneness apostolics on the planet, and since we didn't exist until about 1930, which is 1000 people per day worldwide combined... and 20,000,000 is a high estimate, the real number could be as low as 10,000,000....
2. However, there are 500,000,000 charismatics (read: people who are filled with the spiirt) in the world.... that's 12,085 worldwide per day since 1900... and the growth has been exponential since there are charismatic groups that didn't exist until the 70s/80s that have 100 million members...
my point in this is not that we shouldn't celebrate that one soul got saved, that is a great thing that someone got saved... My point is that there is something stopping us from experiencing the revival God gave the Apostolic church in the 1st century, something stopping us from seeing the number of people saved they saw...
Yes, lets celebrate the 1 person getting saved a weekend, or the 200 in a year... but let's also question why we only see 1 a weekend or 200 in a year, and not 3000 or 10,000...
