How do you deal with hurt?
Early this morning I was praying and I began to pray for people that are hurt and wounded.
In a lifetime of service to the Master I have seen many people SELF DESTRUCT... People that could not/ would not get over things. Sadly as a leader we often see this in many places among many people. In the states just the few short days I was surprized at the number of people there I talked to people that are hurting.
Yesterday a person asked me, why I thought a certain person was committing spiritual suicide. Suicide is often permeated. At first the person judges how unfair life has been to them, how easy other people have it
As I searched the web I found something almost exactly what I wanted to put into words but the writer did such an excellent job I copied it for you that are hurting before you make a wrong decision. I think we have all at some time dealt with hurt and how we handle it determines life in years to come.
What I am going to copy here please take time and read it...coment about it, add to it. Letīs help one another. Letīs be open for correction and Godīs word.
Pride is a horrible thing...It makes us want to "get back" and in the end destroys us. I know that there are people far more capable than I on this subject because they are trained but however this is onmy heart this morning.
Running from our hurts will not help us. We cannot judge our own hearts many times...We must walk the calvary road and listen.
