I number many Apostolic preachers among my circle of friends.

Of them, I do not know a single one who demands a specific offering before they will agree to come and minister.

I have heard that there are some, but in our ranks they are very much the exception rather than the rule, thank the Lord.

Some of you have been hanging around the charismatics too much if you are running into that attitude and spirit.

We have our problems in the Apostolic movement, but by and large, this isn't one of them.

I have been put up in fine hotels some places I have preached.

I have stayed in oastor's homes and humble evangelist's quarters in some places.

I have been taken to fine restaurants in some places, and have eaten everything from cabbage soup to baloney sandwiches in others.

I have been paid very well in some places, and have preached for free in others.

And I really don't know that any of it made any difference to me. I was happy to try and be a blessing.

I am neither ashamed of being blessed, nor too high and mighty to preach in storefronts.

And I think I am just like most of my brethren.
