Dancing

the edict against dancing is one of those traditional standards that has been around for as long as I can remember.

I would like to know why?

I have been involved with ballroom for nearly 10 years and find it to be a very elegant way to spend an evening. The competitions are a blast as well!

I remember being allowed to skip gym classes in JH (which at the time was great!) when they taught square dancing. But now I see ourselves doing a waltz (either standard or Viennese) or foxtrot at a dance (which is NOT allowed by the church) but see someone dancing like a Haitian voodoo dancer at the alter, and THAT is considered ok.

Has anyone else done any ballroom? Waltz, foxtrot, swing, tango, rumba, etc....
