Lightning Almost Struck My Daughter

Monday we had some rough weather. My daughter had been outside playing when it rolled in and my wife called her inside. She watched as she walked up the sidewalk and as she got to our walkway at the apt she suddenly stops and where she would have been if she had continued, lightning struck.


Im at work and Kat texts me and I respond thinking,"Ok...how close is close?"


Folks I have a screenshot of the lightning map for my apt...its right there plain as day.


The Lord was good to us. The night before God had impressed Kat to wake up and pray for Abby,in the Sunday night service we had I was up front praying that God would just reveal His hand on our family....and He did.


Abbys first reaction was,"OH COOL!" and then she kinda sobered up when it set in how close she came to getting hit.


She got some hot chocolate and some snuggles.


Just wanted to share how the Lord has been good to us.
