Thomas Weisser was one of the first men I personally heard who contradicted the accepted UPCI doctrine of the restoration beginning around the early 1900's. I enjoyed his historical proofs that he brought in supporting his views and have used them as a spring board in studying the truth of the Oneness Jesus Name doctrine existing throughout the centuries.
