Which is why I really think I should do something to help him because I do not want to see him go and I do want to see him grow and mature in Christ. He isn't a bum. He just isn't motivated. For example, when I spoke with him I asked him about filing for unemployment. He said he didn't do it yet. I asked when was he planning to do it. He said, "not sure..." I don't even think he was fired. I think his contract expired or the plant just laid people off or something to that effect. I don't think he should leave the church. He just is not doing all that he can do to help his own situation. The church has limited funds and I agree with the church's decision to, as a church, to not step in and help this young man financially.
