I know of scripture where he promised to, IF god met certain conditions. I am unaware of the Bible ever confirming that he did so.
Concerning Abraham, there is a Biblical fact that is seldom mentioned. He promised God that he would not keep any of the spoils for himself. Why is this not expounded on by they who teach that we should tithe because Abraham (Abram) did? If we are to tithe, because Abram did so, and we should follow his example, why is it not taught that we should find some wicked, sinful, homosexual person of power to give nine tithes to. This would follow the example of Abram.
There is never a hint that God told Abram to tithe. There is never a hint that Jacob actually tithed. There is never a hint that anyone in the Bible ever tithed money, including Abram, Jacob, the Hebrews, or anybody else. To pretend that there is, is speculation. To say that there is, is deception.

Question, if Jacob did tithe, who did he tithe to?
