Gilgal, Joshua's Base
GILGAL became the base camp for Joshua's army in Canaan after they crossed the Jordan. It literally means ROLLING ROLLING. It comes from the SECOND Circumcision experienced with the younger generation who hadn't been circumcised since Israel left Egypt.
There is a second circumcision in our lives as believers. First we see body of sins of flesh removed. Secondly is unbelief and fleshly carnality of fighting flesh and blood rather than the true battle against devils.
And it is a demarcation point where we see the old "generation" of doubt die in our lives... the part of us that we carried into this life out of Egypt, and we mature and also grow to know nothing but the blood of Jesus saves us.
So many believers still doubt their worth before God when in fact Jesus paid it all by his blood, so we cannot improve on ourselves as far as being acceptable to God goes. And when we grasp this truth, we will blow the SEVEN TRUMPETS OF RAMS HORNS. That is, the SEVEN full) HORNS (power) speaks of the full power of Jesus' blood, and not our goodness or works. Doubt comes when we think we're not strong enough top battle the enemy. It's not us and our power anyway! It's FULL POWER IN THE BLOOD! And when we sound forth that faith, and go into all battles from the BASE CAMP of second circumcision, we will win every battle.
GILGAL represents a MINDSET and UNDERSTANDING from which we must go forth and fight the enemy. When UNDERSTAND the power of the blood is all the power we need, and not our own fleshly weak power that makes us doubt, we are marching FROM GIGAL and are guaranteed to win!

"Many Christians do not try to understand what was written in a verse in the Bible. Instead they approach the passage to prove what they already believe."
