And honestly when I read what I responded to, I was dealing with a severe thunderstorm, crying baby and just got out of a awesome church...I was a bit distracted and didn't see where you said you would take her in...I sincerely apologise...I wasn't trying to paint you in a bad light. I really was serious about saying it's time government stopped being our God though.
Aquila, I'm not throwing bombs here but who is you and your mother in laws provider ultimately? Is it God or is it man?
I'm not posting this sitting on billions up in my Ivory tower....I have nothing right now... nothing. I have no job, I have no place of my own. My vehicle is in rough shape. I went from making 45,000 a year to not having a job at all.
We don't have money for doctors...our faith by necessity has exploded...both of us have been healed miraculously.
We drive a hour and a half one way to church and I can count on one hand the times we have missed in 6 months.
There's other things that I'm not going to share that would make our situation even seem worse but God is in control and He has never left or forsaken us. I don't put my trust in man for my health or my financial provision.
Bro, if I was going hungry I know a Good who fed a prophet with ravens...I know a Christ who told them to "cast on the other side" I know a Good who through the man of God multiplied meal and oil to out last the famine and multiplied oil to pour into vessels borrowed enough to redeem her son's out of slavery, pay of her debt and live for the rest of their lives.
I serve the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The God who told Abraham,"Wherever your foot touches that will I give you."
They didn't even know His name, but we do!
We have a better covenant!
If you are sincerely worried about the state of affairs for your provision and your loved ones, might I remind you about who is in ultimate control?
We are told in scripture that it is God who sets rulers in power. He lifts them up and brings them down.
Just like under Obama, for whatever reason, God placed him into power, Trump is now in power.
See, you serve the God who put Trump where he is, and ultimately if God is the one who sets rulers into power and He raised Trump into position...it's a God thing and He has a purpose for it. It doesn't mean we won't have complaints.
God is the one who raised Pharaoh into power.
Now if God put them into power, it's not up to us to depose them but to find God's purpose in the appointment.
The Democrats and Republicans can do what they wish, but I don't look to them for my protection, salvation or my provision.
I worship The Lord, maker of Heaven and Earth.
I'm not posting things to try to stir the pot. I'm posting truth and how I'm living.
Might I humbly suggest, that when it comes to God's provision that there three avenues we might travel?
1. Believing He is able and He will.
2. Believing that He is able and He won't.
3. Believing that He can't.
If I truely follow the first, I can't complain and worry.
If I follow the second, I doubt His heart.
If I follow the third, I doubt His power.
Get your eye off of man.
With your complaints, you place Trump on a much higher pedestal than the rest of us do because you give him the power to withhold blessings and give them...he is just a man, not a god.
