Drawing closer to God
With the new year upon us, many folks are making goals they would like to see accomplished over the next twelve months. One goal commonly expressed is the desire to "draw closer to God."
The very efficient among us teach that goals should be S.M.A.R.T, which is an acronym for
1. Specific
2. Measurable
3. Attainable
4. Realistic
5. Timely
My question to the members of this forum: In the light of the specifics of this acronym, how can a person translate a desire to "draw closer to God" into a specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely goal?
