I had my doubts he could pull it off, but I remain firm in my belief that he was the only one that could. As much as I like Cruz, he never would have been able to withstand the assaults.
As I witnessed three rust belt States fall into the Trump camp last night, I thought of those displaced blue-collar workers who had been thrown under the bus by the Democrat Party. Then I thought of what a lousy witness we as Christian voters are to them by never considering their plight, but only exalting our moral values as the standard for choosing candidates. In Trump, both Christians and blue-collar workers won. The former will have a President who will halt the attacks on religious liberty by the Federal institutions. The latter will have a President that will promote economic policy that will stimulate economic growth thus creating good paying jobs.
