Leaving in about 4 hours...prayers
In about 4 hours or so we are leaving (driving) headed toward the jungles in the state of Maranhao. We will only arrive at our first stop for service on Saturday unless we stop at a house meeting we sometimes have in the state of Rio Grande do Norte.
This will be a very long hard trip and I ask for your prayers for our safety over the roads and your prayers that we may bless all those we come in contact with.
We will be in services Close to the captial city of Sao Luiz and from there we will travel around 500 KM to a jungle city called Barra do Corda. In is in this city our son Arlei and family are moving to as missionaries. We are getting them a small house in the city to start with and they are building a jungle headquarters church in the jungles not far from there. We will be visiting the land and see how the building project is coming along plus make as many visits as possible and have house services.
We should be back in about 9 days...I will try to find somewhere along the way that has internet and send updates. We love you all and ask that you pray for us and those children that stay behind to help in the local work here.
A million blessings to you all and thanks to those that helped on chairs for the new rented building. Our son Michael will see that is taken care of for us.
