He is currently at 42 or so percent favor rating. But he has yet to be tested hard.
He has a lot of baggage that will be hard to cover up.

She has the super delegates already sewn up and collected.
Carson cannot win over her....

Hillary is still establishment. Still a tool of the power brokers. One of them said, and I will try to find the link, but he said "We don't care who is president as long as it is either Hillary or Jeb." Both J and H are buyable. Like Barak. They will not tolerate Trump.
If Trump or Carson get the nomination then the brokers will go for Hillary.
