The Falacy of "Holy Spirit Prompting."
The so called "Prompting of The Holy Spirit" in today's American Evangelical Church is a large part of ongoing psychobabble taught therein. In Scripture, the only proponent of such "Holy Spirit Prompting" is the false apostle Saul of Tarsus. He penned the basis for today's "prompting" psychobabble. None of his specific ideologies upon that are confirmed by any other NT writers other than Luke, who was himself not an Apostle but merely was a historian.
Today, this idea of "Prompting by The Holy Spirit" works well for "Christians" who:
1.) Need excuses for their goofy doctrines which are not directly from Scripture.
2.) Are self named "Pentecostals" who need justification for all of their crazy antics and big mouthed pronouncements which have no material substance.
3.) Are too lazy and dimwitted to study Scripture in a disciplined and Godly manner.
4.) Are comfortable with their peers who also think "Prompting of The Holy Spirit" is a valid notion for common Believers.
5.) Need to fill their Sanctuaries with some kind of perceptual drama, rather that using the boring Words of Jesus which are so much more difficult to distort.
6.) Need to appear to be authentically spiritual, because they have no Godly deeds to show.
7.) Like to prey upon weak and gullible Christians with sensationalism.
Give Scripture which justifies this "Prompting by The Holy Spirit" IN THE MANNER YOU CLAIM IT EXISTS IN YOURSELF. Lol. Just becsuse Scripture seems to mention some authentic guidance by The Holy Spirit does not mean you experience genuine "Prompting by The Holy Spirit."
Answer with Godliness and with intelligence, rather than with your snarky little feelings about me. Lol.
