Hello,
I have read bits and pieces of this forum for years, but never contributed until recently. I made posts since I officially joined 2 weeks ago because of some of the hot-topics that came up. Sorry, I wasn't trying to be rude I just didn't have time to introduce my self.
Running from the law from state to state, when I was 20yrs old. I was facing 10 years in prison. My mom, growing up Trinitarian Pentecostal, but left the church in her teens, paniced and called 411, and asked for a Pentecostal preacher. The number the operator gave her was for the chaplain of the police dep. N. Wayne Nigh. I was bailed out of jail by him. He taught me to obey
Acts 2:38 and the Oneness of God. He testified to the judge of my sincere repentance and conversion. I received a modified sentence. Spending almost 2yrs in Idaho under his ministry. When I moved back to home to Modesto, Ca. Bro. Nigh admonished me to attend services with Elder M. Klann. We were there for many years after Elder S. Allard took the church. Elder Klann left to evangelize. Years later, and over 10 years ago God brought us here, where we happily help our dear man of God. working in prison ministry and teaching Search for Truth Bible Study. I also Live in the Amen corner.
There's a whole lot to the details of the story. I will not bore you with. Although, I will say this, I will always honor every man that has contributed to my life. I now share what I have been taught by word or deed to my 3 teenagers and my first and only Beautiful wife of 18yrs!
Like Elder Morton says, 'I owe so much to so many.'
I love this One God,
Acts 2:38 message! Holiness within and Holiness without, Revival, evangelism, fasting, prayer, Stout, Nail biting preaching that makes sinners run to an altar and God happy!
Don't you?
Sincerely,
J.A. Perez
