No executive order issued?
We are finding out that Obama never even issued an executive order granting amnesty to illegal aliens. There is nothing in writing. His word was enough to make John Boehner bow in submission this week even in the wake of the GOP landslide last month.
When asked by a reporter whether or not he could raise taxes by executive order, Obama laughed and made it clear "that could never happen constitutionally." But what's to stop him? He admitted that he did not have lawful authority to change immigration law. Yet congress won't stop him. Why would they stop him from raising taxes? What if he rescinded the Statehood of GOP leaning States that refused to cooperate and declared them all to be U.S. territories under control of the Federal Government? Would anyone stop him then?
