Raised To Life - A Night of Worship

Here is a link to the media page of the Experience Community church website. If you click on the first video titled "Raised to life - A night of Worship" you can watch the video promo for our next quarterly Worship Night coming up this Friday night.

We clear the chairs out of the sanctuary and try to fit as many of our congregation from our 3 services as well as visitors into one spot sitting on the floor and standing.

While our church is word intensive (50 minute lesson / sermon every Sunday) this quarterly event is dedicated to praise and worship with our various band teams doing sets of praise and worship music.

We always have the baptismal tank setup for baptisms at this Friday night service and then the following Sunday (our church does not have a baptistry so we use a large portable water tank like a farmer would use when we have baptismal services)

Typically we baptize 30-40 people on these weekends so it is an exciting time getting to see people identify themselves with Christ in that way.

If you happen to be in the Middle Tennessee area this weekend come join us!

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
