Watching HLN right now and they are talking about GZ not having life threatening injuries, therefore questioning his decision to use deadly force.

Exactly at what point is someone supposed to decide when to use deadly force? I mean, if someone is stabbing you in the arm, do you wait until they stab you in the chest to kill them? It seems that's what this panel is saying...Nancy Grace included.

I'm not sure why they think deadly force shouldn't have been used because GZ injuries weren't life threatening. We all know hindsight is 20/20 and many of us have made rash decisions only to think about it later and believe we weren't using the best judgement but at the time, we believed we were.

I'm sure GZ wishes that he hadn't killed TM, but at the time, he believed he was doing what he thought was best to keep himself from being killed, especially if it's true that TM told him he was going to die.
