Seeing that the Bible contains "the things of God" in written format, then it must be recognized and acknowledged that only God does truly understand it's content.

Because the contents of the Scriptures are "esoteric" in their essence, then regardless of the methods one endeavors to employ in attempting to understand the language of the Bible, it will be to no avail if one has not been endowed with the "Spirit of Truth." |
There ya go. I was about to ask why nobody said the only way to understand the Bible is to have the Spirit teach you, when I saw your post. Simple, isn't it? Just ask God to explain it to you. And everyone who does that will, of course, understand it the same way. God wouldn't tell one person one thing and another person something else! So no more arguing over this or that scripture. Everyone will see the only true meaning.
