I think these are both good, intelligent men. It bothers me to see them ignorantly descend to this level. Yes, there are
Mooslems in the world, along with the Jim Joneses; but we are directed specifically to
not be pointing a finger at them. Lord knows, we have enough on our own plate; and good Muslims, which is the vast majority, are naturally offended by this.
I lived among Muslims for 30 years, and I went among them spouting off in just this manner; I was raised an Apo/Pent, just like you guys. But I was wrong, and it is wrong--and inbred--to condemn a person for their beliefs, regardless of how different they may be from yours. Coming from a pastor, it is a crime, imo. Do you (2nd 'you') 'ordained' types really want me to quote relevant Scripture @ you here? "For it is what is in a man's heart..." etc. God could not care less what 'form' a man has chosen, although I have no problem with a person defending their faith; but defending a religion? Have a good day.
