Thank you ~ This was during the late 80's Aids was still very new, and a scary misunderstood sickness, all we knew was it killed. The lady contacted Aid through transfusing , she die later. She had a son who was also infected from breastfeeding, he to die five years later from Aids.
I be lying if I said I was not scared at first, but after holding the baby in my arms and seeing how much this child and it's mother wanted to live all fear left and was replace with overwhelming love. They her and the boy spent eight months with us, then her family step in, she die in their home as she had prayed. The son die later in their care as well~
