Nor should they endorse that person in a manner that would cause others to question their viewpoints, such as having someone from another faith sit on the platform in full fellowship (and by that, I mean being involved in a position of leadership, influence, or authority) because that would indicate to the congregation and any other observers that one was supporting an opposing viewpoint.
