As far as the whole "secular song" thing. I did not participate in that thread and the only comment I have on it is this. In my opinion, the "secular music" thing falls into the category of Romans 14. If you think "secular music" is wrong for you, then don't sing it or play it but don't judge someone who does. And, if you do not think "secular music" is wrong, then enjoy it but don't judge someone who does not listen to it.

With all due respect, I don't put Secular/Sacred Music in the
Romans 14 category. I would put length of shirt sleeve... wearing a watch... in that category... but the Scripture is pretty clear in it's teaching on music. Maybe not as clear as baptism, or repentance for sure... but much clearer than the items that would fall in
Romans 14 column.
