I'm not an expert in their understanding. And I'm not debating for their cause. I'm just illutrating that there are various interpretations of these subjects. I've read some articles that reference their works, etc. I'm sure you can google various liberal gay affirming theologians. What I find most interesting in the debate is how various rabbinical theologians interpret things. Like Christians, they have views ranging from the ultra-conservative to the rather liberal.
