1 John 4:1 -Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
and
1 Thessalonians 5:21 - Test everything. Hold on to the good.
Do not think that every time you have an epiphany that it is the voice of God. Test the Spirit and the Voice. Does it confirm with the Word of God?
