fall, they both wore fig leaves. But God clothed them in coats of animal skins.
I believe male and female were equal!
GOD gave them different job descriptions.
Today, men and women both work and after the woman has her baby, she goes
back to work. When I was younger, women did not go as equals into the armed
forces. Now they both go into the armed services, if she has a baby, she's off
for a little while and then resumes her service.
Meanwhile who's training up the
children. Training up is a full-time job.
In Christ there is neither male nor female. Is it right for her to work and be
out of the home while the man preaches. Does the woman work while the man
preaches. Maybe she could preach or teach while he works! Isn't she supposed
to be the weaker vessel!
Do you preach against women preachers, etc., while okaying the women in
your church to work outside the home. Who's training up the children. If she
works, she's probably not going to be quiet.
It just seems inconsistant for a minister to look to his wife to work, while he pursues
the ministry.
Paul said that man first know how to take care of his own house, else
how can he take care of the Lord's house. That's how he learns to take care of the
house of the Lord. By taking care of his own house first. I believe that would include
taking care of his wife too. May require some sweat, but that's biblical too. By the
sweat of his brow.
God knows every situation but just some sincere thoughts I have had! Not to be
critical but to provoke thought.
Personally I believe many things are out of order
today. When things are out of order, be it home, school, church, organiza tion,
government, things will eventually start backing up. And when the plumbing
begans to back up, it is best to deal with it. Don't put it off. It may be later
than we think!
