The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
These verses are hardly ever talked about in Apostolic circles. Over 30 years of being in this movement, and I have yet to hear someone truly expound on these over the pulpit.
Some say the Son, Jesus, will exist forever as God. These Scriptures seem to say otherwise; for God to be "All in All" He must exit this limited form.
To be honest, this whole subject is so far above human comprehension, for anyone to claim they "KNOW" is not only ignorant, it's plain wrong. We've got people claiming they understand the Godhead, but can't even pay their bills!
A Being that speaks and Galaxies are formed is beyond me!!

Chapter 15 -- Gordon Fee's treatment of this is beautiful. Why was Paul so insistent on the bodily resurrection? You'll have to read it.
But you are right about the bolded. Arrogant and Ignorant are pretty similar.
