Does not excuse DU's comments if they are hateful.
The comments of the Klan is hateful and they aren't excused either.
Does the call for less heated rhetoric mean a call for censorship?
Not hardly.
It's a call for the people who are in the spotlight, who are influential, to be more careful about their words.
