I think alot have some level of resentment even if a small amount. Most do not get depressed or overreact over it but to some degree it's in most, IMO. I stress IMO.
Most men don't have problem with women of other races. Climax of racism is from man to man of races. Men generally find women of all cultures attractive, if attractive, that is. Even the ones vocal about not mixing races, kinda wierd. The pride of a culture/race is their women and some don't like seeing a man of another race with "their women".
My wife and I have had more problems from black men then whites. But she is a knock out, so it makes a difference.

When we were discriminated against for housing it wasn't from a white person.
But this goes back to not using the broad brush as you stated. No longer can we say whites do such and such or blacks do such and such. Some maybe.
