He says He will and I believe it. If I humble myself before him and sincerely follow Him, I will die with all the truth He has given me to make it to Heaven. That is what I believe.

The context of that passage is spoken to the disciples not to individual believers 2000 years later.
Continue reading and see if these sounds like he is talking to believers in general or to the disciples.
