Unfortunately, there have been those times it was subverted. I sincerely believe those to be incredibly few. Folks claim to know of "several" but many times they are lacking all of the details and what was done.

While I can agree with you, I do know of a few (I won't claim several) that have slipped through the cracks.
Infidelity should never be allowed to be swept under the rug. While God doesn't view levels of sin, man does, and some sins are really worse than others.
