PO, I'm just looking at this as I would with any other politician from either party. None of the explanations I've heard pass the sniff test. They don't hold up when you think them all the way through.
If her reason were these frivolous suits, why suddenly quit now.
She just released a statement stating that all of the suits had been dismissed. Why spend the millions of tax dollars to fight and defeat the suits, then suddenly quit? If those issues are settled as she claims, and there are no other shoes to drop, what is the problem?
Other politicians (including BHO), have had suits filed...even going as high as the Supreme Court in his case.
P.S: It is a very dangerous proposition to take a politician at their word...we really do not know these people.
