MomC (Falla39) had told me that someone had bumped this thread, so I wondered, "Of all the threads, why this one?" Then I spent the time to read it in it's entirety. Afterward, I knew that it was a thread I needed to revisit so I could be reminded of how God has blessed me and shown so much mercy to me.
I have lived longer than many had predicted and I have met so many special people along the journey. The prayers that have been prayed by many of you have truly sustained me during some very rocky times, especially the last few months.
I lost my mother a few months back and it was no doubt the hardest thing I have ever experienced, yet Jesus has been with me each day.
Thank you for remembering me and the kind words expressed on this thread for they meant so much to me.

Beams of heaven as I go,
through the wilderness below,
guide my feet in peaceful ways,
turn my midnights into days.
When in the darkness I would grope,
faith always sees a star of hope,
and soon from all life's grief and danger
I shall be free someday.
Refrain:
I do not know how long 'twill be,
nor what the future holds for me,
but this I know: if Jesus leads me,
I shall get home someday.
. Burdens now may crush me down,
disappointments all around;
troubles speak in mournful sigh,
sorrow through a tear-stained eye.
There is a world where pleasure reigns,
no mourning soul shall roam its plains,
and to that land of peace and glory
I shall want to go someday.
(Refrain)
