Re: What are YOU doing today?!
My lovely bride and I left Oakdale at 3:30 A.M. this morning and headed for Palestine, Tx. on a round trip to pick up our car there an then come back hjome. We arrived hoime at about 2:30 P.M.
New Years eve we where traveling from Dallas to Port Neches to be with my wife's sisters family. As I accelerated to pass a slow truck....no transmission. So we had it towed to a shop there the Monday after New Years...everything was closed until then. It seems to work fine now.....after a large repair bill.
When we got home I decided to take my FIL with me to cut some fire wood. I went by the lot yesterday to make sure it was dry enough. As we drove in all was fine then splattttt........up to the axles on the drivers side. $ wheel drive was of no use. I got a guy to come pull us out. What an ordeal!!! But all is well.
Just ate a beautiful supper of pork roast and am just gonna let the evening ease by. Enough movement and excitement for the day...........
