Veggie Burgers
I WISH I had a great recipe to share, but alas, my efforts last night to create a satisfactory veggie burger were a terrible failure. My poor family did not even eat dinner until 9:45 p.m., because it took me over an hour to prep, and then an hour to cook them, having to remove the 'batter' from the pan, add cornmeal and other things to try to thicken it--and they STILL wouldn't hold together.
My family is very tolerant. *sniff*
ANYWAY...if any of YOU have a great (or even moderately good) veggie burger recipe, please share. The one I tried was from epicurious, and epicurious.com rarely fails me, but this time--GRRRrrRRRrrrrr.
To be fair, the flavors weren't bad...but they turned out more like limp veggie cakes than any sort of Veggie "BURGER."
