That is what I am afraid of, I saw him years ago at the height of his career, before the problems, and he was amazing. I have seen videos of him live more recently and it seems kind of hit and miss, sometimes he sounds really good, and others, not so much. He really has not taken care of his voice at all.
But, regardless, just for the sentimental value, this will be great! His music has followed me through a lot of of different stages of my life.
I am just cracking up that he is going to be so close, and I almost missed it. I have checked up on his touring every once and a while and if he had come to anywhere within 3 or 4 hours of here, I would have gone. This church that he is going to be at, I literally drive by it on my way to work every day!
