Tonight is the first time I've seen the gals sing. Melinda Doolittle did awesome!! She definitely lets her "light" shine; she doesn't dress sleazy or flirty; just sings and seems real. You could see her mom was praying in the audience. That first gal was good and really cute, but definitely went for the sex appeal.

This post was made on the American Idol thread. Doesn't matter who made it, I just wonder if you think God really listens to these prayers? It's sorta like watching an NFL game and seeing the guy with the Bud Light bottle between his "praying hands", asking that the field goal be good to win the game.
My belief: God could care less about these things. Sure, He might
will something to happen in these situations , but it won't be for someone to necessarily
win anything. He knows the heart of the pray-er. It would seem most of those hearts are simply asking God to fulfill a selfish desire.
