Would an exit of Ultra Cons make the UPC more appealing to outsiders and ex-UPCers?

Phil, the UPCI shifted well to the right 15 years ago. The UPCI has shifted slightly back to the center this year.

I suspect the UPCI will remain a pretty conservitive organization.

Eventually things are going to change. without change you get stagnation.

Eventually the UPCI will look quite different than it has in times past. It isnt the church going liberal, it is the natural progression of things. WE dont look anything like Holiness people in 1875. WE sure dont look like the first century church. Change is enevetable.

The key (and what I pray happens) is we begin to live by the principles of Holiness and Godliness and modesty without attempting to define to the most infinite detial what that means.
