Dan,
In your own words, how do you reconcile these verses?
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Act 11:9 But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, [that] call not thou common.
Acts 15:9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
1 Cor 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
