This is their claim... that is for sure...
But they are saying that they did all of these things in Jesus' name and yet he then replies that he never even knew them.
If anything was actually done because of one calling on his name and then Jesus doing the work because they had called on his name then I would have to assume that Jesus knew them at one time.
It brings the phrase "lying wonders" to my mind.
It would seem that one of them, in this conversation, is being disingenuous and I tend to lean away from it being Jesus.
