I dont argue with that. The USA isn't eternal. But God has blessed us and continues to do so. His judgment is being held in my opinion because of the church and because of our blessing of Israel (of course this will open a can of worms). We cannot continue to rebel against God and His Word without consequence, and some consequences are already in motion. But it's more about playing with fire and getting burned than it is God's heavy hand against us.
I would say satan is wreaking havoc. He is the god of this world. He is in control. Demon possessed and devil influenced people are all over the world doing awful things to other people.
When God judges, it will be final and there won't be any question where the chastisement is coming from.
