So, Ted Cruz is a natural born citizen by being born to an American mother having her citizenship when Ted was born?
"natural born citizen"?
OK, then if a woman is an American, and her child is born in Mexico, lives there for 4 years, then when he becomes an adult he can run for president?
Sounds like Germany, a child born outside of Germany is still a German because the mother is German.
I think we are being set up for something further down the road.

A US citizen whose child is born abroad is by operation of law, a natural born citizen. That is a fact.
John McCain was born in Panama. He was a natural born citizen because his parents were US citizens. George Romney, Mitt Romney’s father, was born in Mexico when his parents were Mormon missionaries. Barry Goldwater was born in Arizona before Arizona was a state and just a territory.
Ted Cruz’s parents were working in the oil and gas business in Calgary. His mother was a US citizen who registered him with the US Consulate when he was born, which is what she should have done.
Just because someone is working in another country, for a time, and gives birth to a child doesn’t take away their US citizenship for heaven’s sake.
I have no idea what the big deal is here, unless people really want to make sure Hillary is our next president.
There are no other facts that can be given except the clear fact that is available - TED CRUZ is a US citizen. Goodness.
