If you remember, the IRS scandal was really centered around one Lois Lerner. She had similar issues in her time with the FTC where she targeted religious and conservative groups. Last week emails were released showing that she absolutely lied and did in fact know about the targeting before she said she did.
Today, after being on paid leave since May, Lois Lerner has resigned from the IRS.

Hatch of Utah, the ranking Republican on the Senate Finance Committee. “In fact, there are many serious, unanswered questions that must be addressed so we can get to the truth.”

Watch, Lerner is going to end up somewhere else in Obama's administration; this isn't the last we've seen of this woman.
