Pre-trial I argued against you and others that GZ was guilty of manslaughter.
Today I say it shouldn't take longer than the end of business today to come back with a Not Guilty verdict.
We've watched this trial from the beginning to the end; the State did not have a case. They relied, from beginning to the end, solely on emotion and "common sense." We heard BDLR say yesterday that common sense was more highly regarded and sought for by the Pros than the evidence and the law. John Guy continued that appeal in his close today.
The fact they want the Jury to issue a verdict based on emotion and common sense instead of the law and the evidence says all we need to know.
