Finally got my handgun - Taurus 9mm. Being new it's still a little tight. I had trouble getting the last bullet loaded in the cartridge. Had to hand it to my husband to finish.
I did well on the range yesterday evening. Shot just as well as my husband and son at 3 and 7 yards. Got my bull's eye at 3 yards and stayed in the 10 ring on the target. Having trouble at 10 yards, but yesterday was my first time handling the gun,
We are practicing to obtain our Conceal Carry Licenses.
On the range, this is what I have to accomplish to get my license:
(1) 20 rounds will be fired from 3 yards, as follows:
(A) 5 rds. will be fired ‘One Shot Exercise”; two seconds allowed for each shot;
(B)10 rds. will be fired “Two Shot Exercise”; three seconds allowed for each two shots;
(C) 5 rds. will be fired; ten seconds allowed for five shots.
(2) 20 rounds will be fired from 7 yards, as follows:
(A) 5 rds. will be fired; ten seconds allowed for five shots.
(B) 5 rds. will be fired in two stages:
(i) two shots will be fired in four seconds; and
(ii) three shots will be fired in six seconds.
(C) 5 rds. will be fired “One Shot Exercise”; three seconds will be allowed for each shot;
(D) 5 rds. will be fired; fifteen seconds allowed for five shots.
(3) 10 rounds will be fired from fifteen yards, as follows:
(A) 5 rds. will be fired in two stages:
(i) two shots fired in six seconds; and
(ii) three shots fired in nine seconds.
(B) 5 rds. will be fired; fifteen seconds allowed for five shots.
