Jesse Penn-Lewis got the credit for the book but Evan Roberts was the wisdom, knowledge and ability behind it.
Evan Roberts was called by the Spirit into prayer when her remained in seclusion for the remainder of his days. It is said that his prayers birthed the great outpouring in American that followed the outpouring in Wales.
