I challenge you Apostolic Pastors! Take a Trinity Pastor to Dinner or play golf.

In the following weeks I challenge Apostolic Pastors to be hospitable to Trinity Pastors.

Invite him to dinner, take him out for golf, fishing etc...

Be open and kind, let it all be about them and forget about your Doctrines, say nothing about oneness, Un-less they bring it up. But be a listener.

Then bring back a report.

How will take the challege?

We often have lunch with trinity pastors or even trinity folks...Brother Alvear jusr baptized one and his whole family last Sunday in the precious Name of Jesus.
This is a very good ideal for how shall they know if we do not tell them???????

One of the easiest ways to maintain the way you feel about the "others" (whether that be in religion, politics or war) is to never let them become real people to you.

As long as they are "the trinitarians", "the Iranians", "the terrorists" etc then we can lash them with impunity.

But when we meet, when we see who they are as a person... then it can sometimes make that harder to do.

And... then again... sometimes it is easier than ever.

Depends on the person.

(Whispers to Epley)

He (the trinitarian pastor) doesn't know that anybody really believes that golf is a sin so he won't see any problem with it.

I just understood that really to mean take him somewhere...He would not want to golf with Brother Alvear he has never golfed and thinks golfing looks boring. We do take some out to dinner or invite them to our home or go to their homes for a visit.
My husband is not a "sports" type his main interests are music and preaching.
He likes to travel so he has invited some on occasions to go somewhere...
